The final Pacific ProComp event of the season held in Redding was a great one with perfect California weather and a great ET's all weekend. As usual Butch Stroupe claimed the poll with a 6.63, Makinna Clevenger was second with a respectable 6.74. Steve Will was third with a solid 6.75 while Rich Bailey was fourth with a 7.090, Will Harrison was fifth with a 7.093. Rounding out the field was Curtis Clevenger who suffered some engine damage and was unable to compete in eliminations.

In the first round, Stroupe got the bye run and flew to a 6.59 at 211 MPH. Next, Will took care of Bailey as both drivers red lit but Will was closer to the green and was awarded the win. Regardless, it was a good race as Will stopped the clocks with a 6.72 at 207 MPH to top Bailey's respectable 6.82 at 199 MPH. In the final first round pairing, Makinna Clevenger ran a 6.71 @ 204 MPH to Harrison's 7.01 @ 190 MPH.

In the semi-finals, Will scored a 6.69 @ 209 MPH holeshot win over Stroupe's 6.60 @206 MPH. Meanwhile Makinna Clevenger got a bye run into the finals and made it count with a 6.63 @205 MPH.

In the finals Will scored his second victory of the year with a 6.68 @ 204 MPH blast over Makinna Clevenger who red lit but made it interesting with an identical 6.68 @ 204 MPH pass.
